How to cite us
“Rondo Research” is enough. If you quote a probability, give its computation date: it changes after every matchday, and an undated figure becomes wrong within a week.
The method is public and detailed on the methodology page. You can summarise it as “a Dixon-Coles model fitted on seven seasons, with time weighting calibrated per league”.
What we are glad to do
- Check a quantified passage before publication, free of charge and with no editorial say. We check the numbers, not your angle.
- Produce a chart in your house style, on a specific question.
- Answer “where does this number come from?” — it is the question we like best.
A useful clarification
A probability is not a prediction. An event given 30% happens, on average, three times in ten: writing that the model “got it wrong” because the less likely outcome happened is a misreading. A model is judged on its calibration, which we publish on the method page.
